Easy to make and perfect for a quick breakfast. Smoothies naturally give you a boost of energy and pack your body with nutrients needed to get through the day. This Berry Banana Smoothie is a creamy, dreamy blend of strawberries, blackberries, banana, honey and, almond milk. I love chia seeds in smoothies as they contain healthy omega-3 fatty acids, carbohydrates, protein, fiber, antioxidants, and calcium.

Here are some TIPS for making a delicious smoothie –

1. Use fresh fruits since they have so much more flavor, but if you can’t get your hands on them, frozen will work well too.

2. You can use any milk of your choice: almond milk, coconut milk, soy milk, or regular milk.

3. You can add blueberries along with strawberries instead of blackberries.

4. Use vegan yogurt and vegan milk if you want to make a vegan banana berry smoothie.

5. Use Orange Juice or coconut water instead of milk for a different taste. 

6. Use pitted dates or jam or honey to sweeten your smoothie.

  • 1 cup of strawberries
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 2 spoons chia seeds
  • 1/2 crushed ice
  • 1-2 spoons of honey

METHOD

Put all ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth.
